'Home Improvements': Kilroy Launches New Online Home To Better Serve Constituents

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Want to purchase a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol? Interested in applying for admission to a service academy? Have a question about your social security check? U.S. Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy announced the release of her new website - as an improved resource for her constituents and to make such services more accessible.  The website also features a host of links to media pages including streaming videos, links to Facebook and Twitter and legislative updates on issues important to Ohio’s 15th District.

“Serving the people of central Ohio is my top priority in Congress.  This website will make it easier for us to keep in touch so that I can better represent them in Washington.  I encourage all of my constituents to explore my website and utilize all of the great resources it has to offer.”

Other features on Kilroy’s website include easier access to forms constituents may need to request assistance and help expedite their inquiries; a “From the Desk” page that includes frequent personal messages from Kilroy; and links to information about the Recovery Package and the Small Business Administration in order to provide the families and small businesses in central Ohio with most current resources available. Constituents can also find information on visits and tours in Washington, D.C., information about the legislative process and information on Congressional commendations.

“Members of Congress should take advantage of today’s technological advancements. These improvements will give my constituents the best access to information about my accomplishments, the great programs available to them, and the numerous services that my staff can provide.”
